The Artist

Hello, I started Pyrography thanks to my wife. We were in a hobby store, just looking around when she picked up a Pyrography starter set as a present for me.

I have always been interested in art and at school I was quite good at drawing. So this was a great surprise. As I got to know the art of drawing with a

soldering Iron, I found that I could not get the detail I needed for some of my pictures. I then found a web site that had the answer; I purchased a Pyrography machine or as it is sometimes called, a hot wire machine.

After some practice I found that I could produce the desired effect that I had been looking for. I found a great hobby I was good at.

As all hobbies progress, I found that I had a number of different designs just sitting there collecting dust, so it was suggested to me to try selling them on EBay.

JB Pyrography was born, I had some success with EBay. But due to the prices Ebay charge for listing your items and then the charges for selling them, was not justifiable so I made my first website, JBPyro.

Because of Ebay fees, I had to sell many different products, just to meet the fees. Since creating this site, I can now do what I enjoy doing with a passion......Pyrography burning. I love making Pyrography pictures. Although this a hobby and not a business, I take great pride in all of my work and I hope to pass on the pleasure to the people that purchase my items. I hope they enjoy and can appreciate my work and are very happy with their purchases.
